I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Tom Flaherty. I’ve been active in the outdoors all my life and I have developed a true passion for this beautiful land. I have been involved in the waterfowl community for 18 years. I am a member of the Lake plains waterfowl association and an active supporter of Ducks Unlimited. I started producing game calls when I was disappointed in a very expensive duck call I purchased. The sound was flat, the finish was poor and I just thought I could do it better myself. So a few years later and about 100 prototypes, I have a call that I’m happy with and that’s where we are now at Flaherty Game Calls.

Founded in 1999 by Tom Flaherty, Flaherty Game Calls is backed with 29 years of industry experience. I have been producing game calls since 1998 and have developed calls with unmatched performance as well as appearance. Each call is built one at a time with great emphasis to wood selection as well as sound. Every call is hand tuned by me personally so that each call is unique in its own way, shape, and form. This is something I feel very strongly about. I will not sell a call that I would not hunt with!  Each piece of wood is hand selected by myself, this ensures the highest quality of wood and that each piece has its own characteristics.  We offer our calls in a variety of different woods ranging from cocobolo to yellow heart.  Also we offer our calls in a 100% wood version or a 50/50 wood-acrylic version.
